Who would have thunk it? (past participle of think)
This morning I picked through the Web in search of photos and photographers that grabbed my attention. Then, I Googled. "Top Wedding Photographers" seemed an obvious choice for the search box, and it gave me this man: Austrian-native Christian Oth and his studio of 8 photographers. They hail from many artsy backgrounds which involve pushing shutter buttons. Obviously. Fashion, fine art and magazine journalism, each photographer states his/her philosophy and and samples personal work.
For lack of better words, ( I need to read more) these people deserve their kudos.
I saw creative new ideas and powerful lighting statements that embody the softness, iconic-ness and sculptural feel of a wedding day. Seeing others' work is so necessary for developing a deeper interest and longing to try out new styles; and leap-frog from them in pursuit of developing one's own trademark.
I hope when I do this, I take to heart techniques and passion that those who went before me created .
