Trust me, it is as cool as it sounds, and these examples of da Vinci's most famous machines definitely move - when you activate them. Part of the allure of the exhibit is the interactive vibe. And where there are signs pointing to a hands-on section in a museum, there are children.
Kids were the main focus of my shoot because they are such a strong contradiction when placed in the vicinity of such old technology. Plus to them it's just one huge playground full of knobs and cranks to turn - so they were pleasantly distracted giving me the chance to move in and get the shot.
