Documenting the middle school band camp unfold this past Friday really took me back. The braces, acne and the screeching instruments! But as always, there's another side to this awkward rite of adolescent passage: the friends! I've done my share of band camps from middle school through senior year, and nothing compares to the friends you make when you're all stuck eating the same bland camp food and tossing and turning in stuffy dorms and cabins.
Hanging out with some of these guys was a blast-but it also made me grateful I made it to 20.

I like #2 and #4 the best. These are better examples of what we talked about concerning storytelling. Showing interaction between the campers tells more of the story than individual performance shots.
